We are in the planning stages of a community outreach for the thanksgiving season, and we would love for you to be a part of this endeavor!

Back to the garden has partnered with hope for renewal to hold our 3rd Annual community-wide thanksgiving meal distribution event to help families in need on
Monday, November 25, 2024!
​
We are aspiring to feed 150 families in need in our local community this Thanksgiving, and to effectively host this outreach, we must raise funds and collect food donations to make this possible. We are graciously requesting your partnership with us to impact our community through this act of service to provide much needed resources and food for local families in need. Your help and support will be instrumental in our mission to show the love of Jesus to the people in our community, while providing nutritious food and resources for those who may otherwise go without this holiday season.

We are humbly asking that local businesses and residents would donate financially or with the food items listed below that are needed to make this outreach a success. Every donation of any amount makes an impact and would be greatly appreciated. Items needed include:

cANNED gREEN bEANS
cANNED CORN​
CRANBERRY SAUCE
STUFFING MIX
Chicken OR TURKEY gravy packets
PUMPKIN pies
Dinner rolls

Back To The Garden, and Hope For Renewal will be providing all of the FRESH TURKEYS, FRESH POTATOES, and fresh produce for the event. Donations can be dropped off Tuesday - Saturday at hope for renewal/glenwood Grounds located at 2906 Glenwood Avenue in Youngstown beginning September 1, 2024 between the hours of 9am - 1pm. Donations will be accepted until Saturday, November 18.

Event Details For Families:

We will be operating on a voucher system for 100 pre-selected families, and the remaining 50 meal boxes will be open to the general public AFTER all voucher holders are served.
​
***Voucher holders will be served first, no exceptions.
​
